Ice Fishing

The ice was 26 inches thick the day I took this picture out on Medicine Lake. If you don’t have one of those gas powered augers, I bet running through 6 inch auger through that much ice manually gives you a pretty good workout.

  1. At a short moment while look at the thumbnail, I thought it was a black-hole in the sky.

    I bet it would be good workout and warming up a bit. Have you catch any fish?

  2. 26 inches? Hard to imagine ice that thick. I still would be leery of walking on it.
